Another moon jellyfish.
On all our dives, we've been plagued by these jellies. They sting a little if touch them under the bell of their bodies. But the good news is they are adrift, so they are easily out swimmed, if you are paying attention.....

  1. Lobster season opens on the 6th. So unfortunately these guys missed it! But we did see plenty of them. And lots of baracudas and sharks! Just ask Tryston and Alec! But moon jellies were everywhere! Gave just about everybody that “warm, tingly” feeling! Vinegar and bactine to the rescue. Poor Owen even got to feel up one jelly with his FACE! YUCK!

  2. Looks like you guys are having fun and getting good weather. A guy at my work who just returned from the Keys says that he thinks lobster season opens this Friday. Is that true? Have you seen any barracudas?

  3. I love the pictures you are taking. As the scout mom that is usually on these trips and the picture taker I think it is an addiction and would love to see more. The boys look like they are having a GREAT time.
Thank you for all you both do for Scouting.

  4. I love that dog so much! He is adorable and I want him (or someday one like him).. Also, I saw Will Craven at the front of the chow line..
